Ectaco, Inc. software solutions are based on the high level of expertise and experience of Ectaco linguists, programmers and designers. Ectaco, Inc. has created extensive dictionaries for more than twenty languages, and, based on these, has developed software which provides fast and excellent translation. We make our dictionary software for various platforms and operating systems, including Windows 95/98/2000, Windows CE / Pocket PC, Palm OS, and we plan to expand this selection. Ectaco, Inc. has also developed additional PC-Link software to be used with Ectaco handheld electronic dictionaries.

Language Teacher® for mobile users includes three program product lines: Pocket Language Teacher® for Windows CE, Language Teacher® Pocket PC for Pocket PC and Language Teacher® Palm OS for Palm Pilot and compatibles. It has a full-volume dictionary database and a built-in support for national languages.

Language Teacher® 98 is a software version of the Language Teacher® electronic handheld dictionaries of Ectaco, Inc. You can use it on any personal computer with Windows 95/98 or Windows NT / 2000 operating system. A large volume dictionary database and the ability to translate to and from a language allow you to select the exact translation according to your needs. The word-for-word translation mode is very useful when all you need is general sense of a phrase or sentence.

The professional user's dictionaries for Language Teacher® ER586HT Partner® allow to expand the main dictionary. Five English-Russian bi-directional dictionaries are now available: Aviation, Construction, Medicine, Navy and Nuclear power.

PC-Link programs are available for all Ectaco, Inc. advanced electronic hand-held dictionaries of Ectaco, Inc. The PC-Link program is, as a rule, included on a CD shipped with the package. The latest versions of the PC-Link programs are available for free downloading from our server.
